Migration Safaris Kenya
The Great Wildebeest Migration is one of
the Seven Wonders of the world. It involves close to one and half
million wildebeest and their migration partners, zebra and gazelles
followed by their predators. The migration covers a distance of 1000 km
annually, from Serengeti national Park in northern Tanzania to Masai
Mara game Reserve in southern Kenya. The greatest challenge in the
migration is the crossing of Grumeti River in Serengeti and Mara River
especially for the young calves normally born in March. They form a good
meal for crocodiles and vultures. This is a memorable event and a very

Amboseli | Rift Valley | Maasai Mara
5 Days
Day 1 Nairobi | Amboseli
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Amboseli on Kenya's southeastern
border, noted for its magnificent views of Africa's highest mountain, Mt.
Kilimajaro. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park famous for
its vast herds of elephants. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari
Lodge / Oltukai Lodge/Lodge of your choice. (250kms 4hrs)
Day 2 Lake Naivasha
After an early morning game drive, breakfast will be served a t the lodge.
Travel northwest to Lake Naivasha with Lunch in Nairobi. Dinner and
overnight at Lake Naivasha Country Club.
Day 3 Masai Mara
After breakfast, drive southwest through the Great Rift Valley and into the
world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch at the lodge followed by an
afternoon game drive in this spectacular wildlife theatre. Dinner and
overnight at Mara Serena Lodge /Mara Sarova Camp /lodge of your choice.
Day 4 Masai Mara
An opportunity to enjoy an early morning game balloon flight over the Mara,
which includes a bubbly breakfast in the bush (optional extra), or an early
morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. The rest of the
morning is at leisure. Lunch at the lodge is followed by an afternoon game
drive, with possible sightings of the 'Big Five'. Dinner and overnight at
Mara Serena Lodge /Mara Sarova Camp /lodge of your choice.
Day 5 Nairobi
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving around noon.

Treetops | Maasai | Tsavo West | Amboseli
7 Days
Day 1 Nairobi | Aberdares
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive north through pineapple, coffee and
sisal plantations to the lower slopes of the Aberdares arriving at your base
hotel, the Outspan hotel for lunch. Transfer to TreeTops for dinner and
overnight game watching above the floodlit waterhole and saltlick. (160km,
3hrs).
Day 2 Aberdares | Lake Naivasha
During the morning, cross the tips of the Aberdare mountains stopping
briefly to admire the 73m plunge of the Thompsons Falls before proceeding to
Lake Naivasha Country Club for lunch. In the afternoon continue to the
Masaai Mara National Reserve for overnight at Mara Serena/ Sarova Mara
Camp/lodge of your choice.
Day 3 Masai Mara

After breakfast, drive southeast on the main Nairobi/Mombasa road and into
Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for late Lunch at Kilaguni Lodge.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive to view the parks diverse landscapes and a
wealth of wildlife. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 5 Tsavo West
Full day game viewing and explore the Mzima Springs, a favourite haunt of
hippos and crocodiles. An underwater chamber gives an opportunity to observe
their intriguing underwater activities (subject to weather conditions). All
meals and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6 Amboseli
After breakfast, drive via Shetani lava flow to Amboseli National Park,
noted for its magnificent views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game viewing
followed by dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena/Lodge of your choice.
Day 7 Nairobi
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving around noon.

Samburu | Lake Nakuru | Maasai Mara
7 Days
Day 1 Nairobi | Samburu
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through rolling agricultural land
around Nyeri. Cross the Equator and approach the semi-desert country in
Samburu. Proceed to Shaba Lodge for lunch, game viewing and overnight at the
lodge.
Day 2 Samburu
Spend the day viewing Elephants, Lions, and northern specialties such as the
Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and Grevys Zebras. Observe Crocodiles sunning on the
sandbank or snapping their jaws during the evening feed. Overnight at the
lodge.
Day 3 Aberdares | Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, drive around the Aberdares and descend into the Great Rift
Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. Afternoon game
viewing. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Day 4 Masai Mara
After breakfast, continue across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to
Masaai Mara National Reserve for lunch, afternoon game viewing, dinner and
overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/lodge of your choice.
Day 5 - 6 Masai Mara
Sunrise over the open grassland signals the start of a full day on the
game-filled plains, photograph the stately black maned Lion, Cheetah, or
Leopard, stocking defenseless herds of Wildebeeste and other herbivores.
Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/lodge of your choice.
Day 7 Nairobi
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving around noon.

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive North to Kenya's central highlands
arriving at Aberdares National Park. After lunch at base hotel, transfer to

Day 2 Samburu
After breakfast at base hotel, continue north across the Equator to the
semi-desert region of Samburu, arriving at the Shaba Lodge for lunch. Drive
along the Uaso Nyiro River in search of Crocodiles, Leopard and resident

Day 3 Samburu
Experience a whole day of exciting game viewing in this beautiful rugged

Day 4 Mt Kenya
After breakfast, proceed south across the Equator to the luxurious Mt. Kenya
Safari Club. Enjoy its many facilities and scenic beauty. Dinner and

Day 5 Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, drive west across the Aberdare ranges to arrive at the bird
sanctuary of Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch, game drive and
overnight at the Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 6 Maasai Mara
After breakfast, experience the dramatic landscape of the Great Rift Valley
on your way to the Masaai Mara for game viewing and overnight at the Mara
Serena Lodge/lodge of your choice.
Day 7 Maasai Mara
As the day breaks, enjoy fantastic game viewing of the teeming wildlife that
